Jericoacoara Airport (JJD) is in the district of Cajueirinho, in Cruz, not inside the village itself. It is about one hour from the terminal to Jericoacoara, and the final stretch is done in a 4x4 across the dunes: the village sits inside a national park and has no paved road to its centre.

Around 300 km overland, 5 to 6 hours by transfer. Many more flights arrive there, but the journey is far longer.
