Stargazing and Plankton

Night outing to the dunes to watch the sky over the Lençóis Maranhenses with no artificial light, and, in the lagoon, the bioluminescent plankton that light up with the movement of the water. The bioluminescence depends on the moon phase and shows best at new moon. On full moon nights the phenomenon is much fainter, so it is not guaranteed.
